Great Mate making life easy
Designed by a Modeller for Modellers. Constructed from Powder Coated Steel Tube with Stainless Steel accessories and fasteners, with other exposed parts treated with Zinc & Yellow passivate, built to last a lifetime. Incorporates a sturdy folding bench should you wish to sit and rest.
Some modellers also use the Great Mate as an Engine test stand If you have problems kneeling down, or simply want to work on your model in comfort at home or out in the field, The Great Mate is your answer.

One of our customers uses a customised Great Mate Model Stand to flight prepare & start a large 80 inch CAP 232 model with a 45CC Petrol Engine and a large Hurricane 88 inch wing span weighing 11 kg powered by 50 cc Engine without the need for assistance from fellow modellers. The stand design allowed the Hurricane to be raised to check retract operations
